Oops! I did it again.

Well I did it yet again, I said I was going to blog every Wednesday, and Friday, and today is Saturday. One day off, I guess that isn't too bad. I will get it one of these days. :) 

Honestly, I have no idea what to blog about today. 

It's 11:09 am on a Saturday, and I have been forcing myself to wake up early every morning. i love my sleep, but in a few short weeks the preschool school year will start up again and I refuse to let myself get too used to sleeping in. The rude awaking my body will have every weekday morning come August is going to be bad enough as it is, I might as well get used to it now. So I've been up since 8:03 am. I've walked the dog I'm dog sitting, had my coffee, read a magazine, showered, mindlessly played an iPhone game, and currently I am twiddling my thumbs about what to do today. I'm not going to lie, it's pretty nice having more morning time and being able to slowly ease into my day. It's just a little odd for me to be ready this early.

What time do you wake up? Is there anything special you like to do to get your day going? 

Twenty Five

As we can tell it's been a while since I've been on here. My apologies. I am not the best at staying on top of things like a blog. However this time around I am going to do my best to change things. Speaking of change, lots of things have changed.

I am now 25, my hair is blonde, and I am going to School for the first time in seven years! Yikes! I am still a Preschool teacher, lover of all things fashion and social media (except my blog), and I still own way too many nail polishes. 

Twenty Five has been quite a year already, and I am so excited to see what the remaining six months have in store for me.

 

I hope you all will continue on this blog journey with me and hold me accountable to blogging on a more regular basis. I'm thinking every Wednesday and Friday for now.

For my first blog post on Maddie Avenue I thought I'd let you all get to know me. The way I decided to inform you about myself was to give you 15 random facts about me. So… Here we go! 

15 random facts about me

     

1. I am left handed

2. I own 95, yes 95 bottles of nail polish. Let's add about three bottles since my family members like to "borrow" them… so 98 bottles

3. My favorite season is winter. I love the cold but that does NOT mean I love being cold.

4. I'm allergic to most body washes, lotions, body butters and ALL shaving gels/lotions. Let's say that stearic acid and I aren't bff's.

5. Asheville, NC used to me my favorite city, but Savannah just stole my heart. 

6. The London 2012 Olympics turned me into a USA, Red,White, and Blue, Stars and Stripes crazed person.

7. My best friend in the whole world is Leah Lawson. She lives in Nashville and sings like an angel. I will use this blog as a way to show her off. Sorry but I can't help it.

8. Theatre and acting has always been a passion of mine, and I recently just landed a lead role in a play at my community theatre.

9. I drink more coke than I do water

10. Anthropologie, J Crew, Free People are some of my favorite stores

11. I live in Orlando, FL 

12. Hershey's Chocolate Bar Cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory is my favorite dessert. Ever.

13. I like rap music, like a lot. There I said it. 

14. I'm not kidding when I say I love avocados. 

15. When I was in second grade I used to think I would drive a green bug with white polka dots. Yeah, just let that mental image simmer for a bit… I drive a jetta so I guess that's close enough.

Well, there you have it! 15 random things about me. If you know me really well these may not seem so random to you, but I hope you found them interesting. 

This blog will contain a lot of different posts, beauty, fashion, every day life stuff, and whatever I feel until I finally settle into my bloggin category (or not at all). There will be typos, grammar and punctuation error, but that's me. I will try to post about three times a week. My goal is to get a schedule for when I post but I apologize in advanced if they are sporadic.
